   Created by Eleni Ntinou dinouelen@gmail.com The High School of Velo created an event on Genocide, in the past and in the present, in art and in reality, which took place on Friday 13/06/2025 at 20:00 at the school. The main speaker was the award-winning director of ‘The Murderess’, Eva Nathena. Eleni Kravariti the cordinator of Erasmus in Velo school issued the following press release:  "A special event took place at General Lyceum of Velo on Friday 13th of June.  The event was held in the school's courtyard and had the theme: "Femicide. Yesterday and Today, in Art and Reality".  The event took place in the framework of the European Erasmus+ research project entitled Gender NeutrAll, which has been implemented in our school for the last three years in collaboration with the Universities of Patras (Greece), Rouen (France) and Evora (Portugal) as well as with five other secondary schools, two from each participating country. This was created within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, with the aim of addressing and challenging gender stereotypes, especially in the context of education and youth. In particular, the project aimed to raise awareness of gender stereotypes in education, the media and the professional environment.
